'My Whole Family is Registered Under MGNREGS'

Q: When did you return to the village and how did you come?
Beneficiary: I came back from Pune in April on a motorcycle.
Q: Were you put in an institutional quarantine or asked to self isolate at home?
Beneficiary: As soon as I entered the village, I had to give all my details. The ASHA and Auxiliary Nurse Midwife asked me to go to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) where I was tested. After that I stayed in the village school for 14 days, I went home.
Q: Are you registered for the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS)?
Beneficiary: My whole family is registered under MGNREGS. I got Rs. 1,100 Rs. for the work that I did. However, now the work has stopped due to the rains.
Q: What is your means for earning a livelihood now that you are back in your village?
Beneficiary: I am majorly doing farming on my own land, and on other people’s land too.
